Many treadmill manufacturers confuse the consumer with the models that are on offer; Landice is no exception. But basically, Landice treadmills can be seperated into two types: Landice Light Commercial or Full Commercial treadmill. The LTD (Light Commercial) is designed as a residential treadmill whereas the Club (Full Commercial) treadmill is meant for fitness clubs.
Within these two types, there are three categories to choose from: Pro Sports Trainer, Cardio Trainer and Executive Trainer. The only difference between them is the display. The Pro Sports Trainer has a basic display, while the display on the Executive is mind blowing. The Execute display comes with a VSI (Vertical Situation Indicator) display, a Road display, a training calendar, a Track display - the list goes on; the display has enough 'toys' to keep any executive happy.
So, we've got the 2 types and 3 categories of Landice treadmills. Following on, we have 3 models on offer.
The L7 model is available in the LTD (Light Commercial) and Club (Full Commercial) versions.
The L8 model is available in the LTD (Light Commercial) version only.
The L9 model is available in the Club (Full Commercial) version only.

Why are Landice treadmills the best?
Landice treadmills are the best because of many things. It treadmills use a 3 hp continuous duty drive motor, which is made in the USA. It can continuously deliver 3 hp without overheating.
Landice uses a state-of-the-art custom flywheel, giving the highest inertia in the industry.
Landice treadmills use the finest treadbelts. The treadbelt is made up of 4 layers. Most other treadmill brands use only a 2-ply treadbelt. This adds significantly to the cost but as 4-ply belt provides twice the strength of a 2-ply belt.
Is there anything to be said against the Landice treadmill?
Although Landice are the only company offering a lifetime warranty on a treadmill, you'd better have a lawyer present when it's installed. Customers have complained that Landice Treadmill’s standard warranties are loaded with loopholes that buyers should be aware of in advance. Make sure you read all the warranty information before buying. Landice treadmills must be installed by the dealer for all home use machines for the waaranty to be good. Landice also state that the domestic treadmills also need to be installed by a dealer within a 60-mile driving radius of the selling dealer’s nearest retail store. And, if that wasn't restrictive enough, the warranty only applies to the original owner with the exception of beneficiaries named within 30 days of initial installation.
Apart from the stringent warranty there's very little else to say against a Landice treadmill. It's a treadmill for the serious runner. The price of a Landice treadmill starts at over $3,000.
