Star Trac Treadmills

Star Trac treadmills have been on the market for many years, but their latest models are hitting the market with a huge splash. Instead of making small tweaks and changes to their already top-of-the-line models, they designed completely superior, all new machines that stand miles apart from most residential treadmill models on the market today.

Of course, there is always a price for luxury, right? These treadmills definitely fall in the upper end of the market with retail prices sometimes reaching near $10,000 for a single unit. So, what do you get for that price tag? Original and innovative designs. Extremely durable frames. Power like most consumers can only dream of having in their home. Entertainment that will keep you working out for hours a day, if you have the time.

Star Trac treadmill reviews marvel not only at the sleek designs, but how those designs enrich the walking and running experience. The design features actually make them more functional with increased safety and comfort. For example, a sleek aero wrap around bar looks like a stylish addition that wraps around in a very unique way, but it actually delivers tons of options for holding on.

The E series is the line known for Entertainment, and no one does entertainment like Star Trac.

The Star Trac E-TR Treadmill is the entry level model in the series. It comes equipped for installation of the E series PVS entertainment system, but does not come with it already installed for this entry level price. What it does offer are the basic entertainment components that all E-series treadmills have.

This includes high quality speakers and a charging port for an iPod or other electronic device. On this model you can listen to music files, but models with the entertainment system plug into video as well. The built-in fans can be adjusted by user and heart rate is monitored through sensors built into hand grips or a Polar wireless chest strap.

This model has a 20” x 60” running surface and will go up to 15 mph with a maximum incline of 15%. It is suitable for users up to 500 pounds, thanks to an extremely powerful 5 HP AC motor. It comes with 12 preprogrammed workouts including unique settings like Army protocol.

The Star Trac E-TRi Treadmill is the next step up. It has many of the same basic features, but is already equipped with the PVS entertainment system. This includes an embedded 15” HD viewing screen where you can plug in and charge your personal devices such as an iPod and then view your files, look at images, or play music while working out.

Finally, the Star Trac E-TRxe Treadmill includes all of the entertainment features of the other models but steps up the workout capabilities as well. It goes up to 20% incline and has an extended running surface measuring 21.5” x 60”.  18 preprogrammed workouts are included.
