Tunturi Treadmills

Tunturi treadmills fall toward the higher end of the home fitness market, ranging between $1000 and $2,000, with some advanced models exceeding this limit to the $4,000 range. While they do not offer the best warranty packages on the market today, they do offer nice features and fully functional machine that are designed for more vigorous workouts.

Tunturi treadmill reviews tend to favor the Tunturi Folding Treadmill since it can be reduced to a smaller size or even wheeled out of the way. This allows space to be freed when the machine is not in use, and allows users with smaller available space to make use of these high quality treadmills at home.

A few of the best models currently available will fall below, giving a good idea of what is delivered for the higher price.

The Tunturi T20 Treadmill offers a 19” x 56” deck, which is larger than most lower priced decks. Runners will appreciate the extra room to fully extend their legs for full stride. The LED console display is preprogrammed with 9 workout options and the machine is capable of going up to 10 mph. The maximum incline is 12%. Hand grips feature built-in hand grips for easy access without pausing the workout.

This model comes with a 15 year warranty on the frame and motor and 2 years on parts.

For those looking for more advanced features, the Tunturi T60 Treadmill comes with 35 different preprogrammed workouts for a wide variety of exercise options. The heart rate is automatically taken through a heart rate monitor belt and the machine will go up to 12 mph and 12% incline.

This model comes with a 20 year warranty on the frame and motor with 18 months on parts. It will hold users up to 300 pounds.

The Tunturi T40F Treadmill has all the same basic features and almost the same warranty offer as the T60 model. It includes a bottle holder as well.

While all of these models are made with sturdy materials and are durable for more intense use, serious runners or athletes in training should consider the Tunturi T85 Treadmill. It will go up to 14 mph and includes advanced preprogrammed features, such as the competition function and fitness test options.

Tunturi treadmills are not likely to be the best pick for budget-minded consumers or those who are looking for low intensity or occasional workouts. These machines fall to the higher price range because of the more advanced features and extra sturdy construction.
